Bow Cliff Seniors Receive $1,000 Contribution from ClearView Plumbing and Heating
If you or someone you know is getting a little older and you want a place to socialize, be involved, or even get some appropriate assistance, then Bow Cliff Seniors may be just the place for you. There is always something happening for Calgary-area seniors through the Bow Cliff Seniors (BCS) program.
Some senior citizens feel isolated and fall into an inactive lifestyle.
BCS works to promote core values for seniors through activities that:
- Help seniors recognize their great personal worth
- Provide opportunities to contribute and expand their talents
- Enable seniors to strengthen our community
- Serve seniors of all economic circumstances
Activities include a variety of art classes including oil, water color, or pastel painting, and mixed media courses. Seniors can also attend a variety of exercise, stretching, dancing, and other movement courses.
There’s also a game going on nearly every night – whether it’s crib, bridge, bingo, or other another game, the center is usually buzzing with some kind of activity. To see what events are scheduled, see their website at: http://www.bowcliffseniors.org/programs.shtml
BCS also offers a community outreach program, helping persons in need find appropriate community resources.
ClearView Plumbing and Heating is proud to announce a charitable contribution of $1,000 to Bow Cliff Seniors in Calgary to aid their mission in supporting the well being, independence, and zest for living among Calgary seniors.
